Friends.

I’ve been wanting to do this post for almost a year now, but I didn’t had the time I have now and I didn’t quite now how to start. But, today, it feels right and I am sharing these few people who had inspired me and impacted me throughout my whole life. I just want to let you guys know, it has been an absolute blessing to have you guys in my life and I wish you guys enjoyed my company as much as I am enjoying them! =)

 

1) Wenz babe!

 

Always eccentric in taste. The only who gets me before I finish a sentence. Nerdy. Beautiful. Emotional. Movie buff. Coffee-head.

 

We’ve known each other for like for ever! Went through secondary school together, to only go to the same high school together too~ And I still think we are crazy for giving each other silent treatment for 2 years, fighting over a seat! Hahaha, I absolutely love love being spendthrift with you!

Thank you so much babe for ALWAYS being there when I had the worst time of my life, when I was in my love crisis (pfft….you know what I meant) and I don’t why why, but trouble happens when we got together but I absolutely like it,haha! Oh oh, and walking through the door of shopping mall and restaurants with me DURING the most important exams of our lives. LOL.

 

Some after thoughts:

Hope we can throw our caution in the wind someday and run to our crappy little apartment together, and hey! Let some guys into your life, I am still waiting on our double date!

Also known as “moo moo”. haha. Knew her since high school, bonded over Handicraft Society. Shares the common passion for crafts and SHOPPING! lol. I still can’t forget the day where we barged into Roxy and spend RM250 each person, just to get their plastic card!

Moo, the way you are so determined to get what you want is truly inspiring, it really pushes me to work harder. And the way you appreciates yourself for who you are, made me realise that I am very fortunate to be just myself. Thank you for giving me the confidence I needed… =)

Stop BITING people! lol! I hope you will find a great guy some day as passionate as you, and he must go through me first ya! It is great to know you,moo!

Today --- is a good day. ?

Today is the big day! Gonna get my first eyebrow trimming session! I googled my ass off, looking for a good brow shaper with great reviews. And I am sold on Shu Uemura, and guess what? I happen to have a complimentary pass for a session,courtesy of a membered friend. So, off I go.

 

Got to One Utama around 1pm, happily leaped into Cotton On to redeem my RM100 voucher, before everything I like runs out of sizes. Then, walked on Shu’s outlet, as appointed time. Then, it hit me. The girl working the counter told me that the pass is issued by Empire Gallery, so I need to get my session done there, How silly can I be for making an appointment on the phone without asking which outlet it is ?!! So, I left One Utama after spending an hour there.

Big traffic on my way en route to Empire…hmm… which got me thinking… what if my friend got her membership in Sunway? Because it is highly unlikely that she went to Empire. On a hunch, I called the same number I used to make appointment. Half way to Empire, only then I knew my hunch was right. Sunway is where the outlet is… =( after u-turning and missing the turn and u-turning again, finally I got my session done.

 

The outcome?

 

Well, not so well… Or I am not used to seeing my new brow shape… So, anyhow, the service was good, pain level was tolerable. Not going to show my new brow shape for now, gonna let it grow a little thicker, maybe will be updating in a week. (I have thick eyebrow, so I am assuming mine will grew slightly thicker pretty soon ^^)

 

However, not all is lost today. I found a absolutely adorable way to pin my hair into a fringe to cover my eyebrow! Haha! I can totally live with that.

 

I think it is a high time to get a fringe now…

and yes, these are the new brows… *cringe*

Mum’s constantly looking at my eye brow is stressing me out, and with my first Muay Thai training after MIA-ing for a month, my muscles are sore. They are screaming for a good warm bath. I had my first bubble bath with the bottle I bought few days ago. It was awesome! =) I feel so much relieved now…

 

 

So, today was a good day. Although the trimming didn’t quite meet my expectation, but what is life without a little adventure, right? and I found a new way to pin up my awkward-length hair. On top of that, I finally got my transcript from college! Gonna get started with my uni application!

 

And and and…

 

Did I mention I got featured in Star Newspaper? Hahaha, alongside with another 9 finalists of Ideation Award 2012! Here’s a copy from the organizer.

 

 

I’ve been feeling really down lately, wasn’t sure what I was doing with my life, didn’t have a clue what future holds for me and a successful life ahead just seems to get frailer by the second…this comes at the perfect timing to pick me up again… I feel reassured and hopeful, just like old times… It’s GOOD to be back!

My Valentine’s …

B is in Melaka now, helping out with his parent’s things so we had to postpone the big “V” celebration. At first, I thought it didn’t matter to me, until the evil “V"-day drew closer. Facebook is flooded with pictures of happy couples celebrating their affection and I found it a ted bit annoying. It got worse when I found out that all of my single-fabulous friends were occupied with their things too on Valentines’. Instead of licking my wound in front of the frustrating bombardment of ‘happy’ Facebook pictures, I turned to the one thing that had never failed to cheer me up, Retail Therapy!

 

Finally found a good blazer for my coming Award Presentation…

 

So, I grabbed mum along and off we go. Didn’t buy much but I was just plain happy to keep myself occupied for half the day. I spent my Valentine’s night, snuggled in the my bed, watching episodes of Gossip Girl. Believe it or not, it was very comforting!

 

On the day before, I went out with pretty Ave after such a long time of missing in touch! We met up in Pavilion, she was helping me to pick out a foundation, since mine is running out and I’ve got a few big events coming up.

 

This babe cut her shoulder-length tress to the cutest short bob I’ve seen!

 

It was a great day, minus the walking back to LRT station at night part. ^^ Thanks,moo!

Clinique’s Super Balanced Foundation is by far, the most best foundation I can find, after being strongly persuaded by Ave to get one.

 

Anyhow, B is here (finally!) on the weekend and so is my belated Valentine! *happy dance*

He waited at my doorstep, bouquet in hand, under the light drizzle. How hopelessly romantic… =( we went out for dinner and movies! Yeap, two of my favourite chick flicks, This Means War & Journey 2. I have got to say, ‘This Means War’ is A-W-E-S-O-M-E~ So funny yet charming. Here is a twisted idea for those lucky girls who is currently being pursued by two guys, go watch this movie with both of them together!  *evil wink*

After my foundation splat onto my favorite dress last time, I’ve learnt to put on make up BEFORE putting on my dress. note to self!

Fresh faced!

 

 

During the dinner, B tricked me into looking over my shoulder and when I turned around, he put a little velvet box on the table, and I was in for a sweet surprise. He had bought me a necklace, a beautiful teardrop pendant… ^^ and it made my Storm-Trooper-pendrive-gift looked ridiculous…

 

So pretty… *drool*

Seafood Risotto, so fresh, just heavenly… =) Wenz, we have got to try this!

It was a great day,haha. Guess Valentine’s isn’t canceled after all.

 

Fresh flowers always smells good, until they wilt away. So, here are some tip for those who receives blossoms a lot… the keyword is “Listerine”!

 

Yeap, the mouthwash. After much googling, the two things that keeps fresh flowers alive longer, are anti-bacterial and acid. Listerine has both and it is simple to put together. Just put your bouquet in fresh water ( 2 ounces of Listerine per gallon of water) and remember to change them every 2-3 days. Now, let’s just see how the formula works on mine.

 

Besides that, I know I have been stuck with a paranoia mind for quite a while now and it is stressing me out! So, I thought to myself, why waste a perfectly good bathtub in my room? So, I went out on a hunt for a great relaxing bubble bath, that calms me while softens the skin.

 

Unfortunately, most of the bubble baths are expensive (around RM60-200) until I came across this pretty little thing in Sephora. Man, I am starting to love Sephora so much! This has all of the things I want in a bubble bath, great smell + smoothening formula + affordable and seriously, how can you ignore the packaging???

 

So girls looking for some stress-busting bubble bath, try looking in Sephora, they have THIS and Sephora’s own series of bubble baths, all together in 15 different scents (including coconut milk, chocolate, etc)… You just have got to check them all out!

 

B picked up his new toy too~ haha, geeks just couldn’t help themselves, like shopaholics who thrives on sales. LOL!

 

I have got to stop mumbling now if I don’t want to miss my Muay Thai with Ave. Sorry for the hustle ending, but I hope you did have a great Valentine’s too. =)
