A quick update…

Finally finished my final studio assignment. The thing sucks the life out of me, not the tedious model making, but the fact that your input doesn’t equal to the output…Anyhow, it’s the thing in the pass now until results are out  and life moves on…along the way, I’ve had fun. So, here’s a brief update for my idle site ^^

When the due date of my final assignment is drawing closely, true to KC’s style, I went out! To a Wesak parade…well,it was a tradition of two years for me and B to join a dear friend, Keshin for this parade. So, there we are, walking the 10+ km along the beautiful float, surrounding by people chanting the soothing Buddhist chant, talking and walking…

Hihi, as promised, here’s the first product of Moocraft in the summer ‘10! ^^ Although it took me a little longer than expected to finish this, but there you go, it’s done~

Upon request, this PSP pouch was custom-made with a logo designed by its current owner using Photoshop (not that I am encouraging you to do that, but it can be done this way – you design, I make it happen for y’all~) *wink wink*

钢琴

今天和老爸老妈喝早茶，遇见老爸一位旧同事。他们以前一起做装修的，那也是好几十年的事了。聊起老爸那时装修时，向一位顾客买下一部钢琴。它，现在就静静地占着家里的一个角落。

 

爸说，那时，那钢琴的主人买了给他孩子，但他孩子碰也没碰过，所以他打算卖了它。 当时也有一个外国人来看，想买它，但那屋主还是卖了给老爸。十六年前的四千块，老爸身上没那么多钱，但屋主愿意让他分期付款。结果，爸就把它买下了。十六年前的我，还不会弹钢琴。。。

 

我还记得，一天，我从幼儿园回来，看见一部全新的钢琴呆在楼梯旁，开心得不得了！东摸摸，西摸摸的。。。不久，就开始学钢琴。

 

就这样，学了又停，停了又学，到了两年前，我停了钢琴课。屈指一算，我应该有一年没碰过它了。。。

 

功课，借口，考试，理由，玩乐。。。我忘了老爸的苦心，along with many other stuff, stuff that I was so lucky to have, stuff that I took granted for, after being blinded by things I couldn’t have. I am starting to remember now, starting to learn to remember, to remind myself, of things that I have, of things that used to be so close to my heart. It is not too late, is it? I believe not…It can never be too late.

 

Which reminds me of an article I saw on the newspaper a long while ago.

Sweet 20th birthday…

Haha, I’ve officially entered the “20s” club! The birthday vibe never really hit me until the day before the big day~ People send messages, wishes and it warms my heart ^^ and then, I realize, apart from everything, I can do whatever I want, just because it’s my birthday…Now, I wish everyday’s my birthday~ (I know I sounded like it’s my first birthday ever, but still…)

 

Alrights, on the very day of my DAY, it’s the internal critique session for my final studio design. So, much to my despise, I need to get to school, ready to get screwed by the other lecturers for whatever wrong I’ve made, run out the door, weeping like a baby…However, long story short, it didn’t happen that way. phew~

 

In the evening, B brought me to Ampang Lookout Point for a dinner. Shella, Zin and Cat came along too, the more the merrier~ It was a nice place, 250m above sea level, overlooking the city, unobstructed. The city centre sparkles before our eyes, drenched in warm street lights and moving headlamps. We had the usual Western food in one of the restaurant, sitting on where used to be Bread & Olive. The food was not that impressive, should have gone with the BBQ combo instead. Anyhow, Zin they surprised me with a slice of cake which they sneak up in Shella’s ‘Doraemon’ bag, and B did the impossible, getting my “The Notebook”…Tears were brimming at the sight of everything…

Okay, now, for the forth day of my marathon, Wenz’s turn. After returning from school, I went to Midvalley in KTM. In the hopes that Ladies Coach will ease my ride, I waited. Well, my hope was crushed, no doubt about that. There are dudes in the ladies coach, and sitting on where ladies should be sitting, while ladies were standing, looking on helplessly. WTH…*disappointed*
