Now that’s how it tastes like..

It’s been ages since I last saw Wenz and I finally got to drag that pretty babe out last weekend. We used to do so many things together back in high school, but we rarely do soon after we went on to college. Soooooo many ‘thingss’ together, eh, Wenz? *wink*

Anyhow, despite the fact Moral final is coming up, we went out anyway (not that Moral has much to study..). Midvalley as usual, talked a lot as usual and splurging as usual too! Not that we splurge that much as we used too, but still it made me remember what “indulge” used to feel like – sinfully good. LOL.

Nothing much to write about, I’ll let the pictures do the talking. ^^ (Babe, grab the pictures as much as you like..)

The Garlic bread tasted very much different form the usual ones, in a good way.IMG_5281Awaiting our FOOD!! IMG_5285 IMG_5286 The beef steak is what the restaurant is famous for, but it is too insanely out of our budget and out of our diet too..so fish and chicken it is..IMG_5291 IMG_5295

What does “stressed” spell in backwards? “DESSERTS”!!IMG_5300 IMG_5303 IMG_5305Bon Appetite~

IMG_5310Went to P-HOP (Paddington House of Pancake) after we discovered there is nothing much to shop around..(much to our surprise.)IMG_5306Heavenly combination of hot-&-cold….hmm~ IMG_5308

IMG_5309

They use good quality maple syrup (the ones collected from maple tree, yes, you guess it, the tree where maple leaves come from ^^) in P-HOP, so you can bet the pancakes taste real good..seriously..

That’s all of my weekend..enjoy!

Life’s a beach, everybody’s living it..

Well, today didn’t start up the way I wanted. Woken up in the morning, greeted by the cool breeze on my way to school. (My morning up to this point was preet-ty fine..) I stand before an unfamiliar elevator in Block A1, trying to get to 3rd floor. Got to classroom A10301, only to see unfamiliar faces, college mates from other courses. I sat at the corner of the room awkwardly, hoping someone I know would come to my rescue. Time ticked by, only then I noticed my phone was out of credit.great~

My moral lecturer has impaired sight and so he wasn’t moving around much, let alone mingling with his students. I started to settle down and looked around.

Then, the lecturer said, “Can someone take the attendance list (from me) and sign?” He stood there, holding the thin stack of paper, in the middle of the classroom, not moving much.

I looked around, none of the students seem to care, carrying on doing what they thought was important, talking.

Minutes went by, he was still standing there, holding the name list. He continue to ask, “Is there any graphic student in this class?”.

A student raised his hand, waved and laughed out loud to his classmates, as if he’d did something admirable. Clearly, he was making fun and taking advantage of this poor lecturer.

I couldn’t take it anymore, stood up and walked towards the lecturer. He asked if I can help him collect the signatures from my classmates and return the list to him when it’s done. Of course.

Since the rest of the class will be having an exam soon, I left the classroom, shutting the door behind me, feeling helpless and pity for the lecturer ; hatred towards the creatures of my age.

Apparently, they have ran out of life’s destiny and chose to prey on the weak and elderly by mocking at their disability. They must have a ‘bright’ future laid ahead, good to know.

Then, there comes another type of screw-ups in my life. These are the notorious creatures with incredible ability to hurt people through their words. They thought they could get away by admitting the fact that they are dissing people, well, you can screw that thought alright. Since when blogging becomes a personal thing? Blogging will never be personal if it’s accessible by others. So, if you think you can blog whatever your ‘personal’ thought that was intended to belittle people, rest assure your offence is well taken! THAT I can assure you.

Life is beautiful as it is, yet there’re always the idiotic ‘predators’ and the screw-ups to make yours miserable. The only way to take it? Just remember every bit of it, tell your grandchild of how these creatures used to roam in your college and made your college that much interesting and then laughed your butt off.

I still have faith in life, in the good in people, but for these creatures, good luck for them, they’ll need it.

Life is too short to be lingering in hatred, and so, I MOVED ON… …

Dear mates, just be the best of you, never mind what others think, none of them matters.

With realisation,

KC

Loving everything about this town~ II

Picking up form what I’d left off, here goes the second half of our first day in Melaka.

Melaka night cruise..

IMG_4342IMG_4345IMG_4331

The night ends when we had a night stroll in the usually-jammed-packed Jonker Street, in the cool breeze of the night, soaking in the delightful silence.

Day 2 itinerary :

Wake up real early - buzz Zin up - walk along Jonker in the morning - walk along Jonker (again) and Red House - have chicken rice balls – bathe - walk along Jonker (again, but the night market is really nice…) and grab a drink at local bar (oh no, we didn’t *wink*).

The one thing I love most about this town is that no matter where you go, you’ll see stores being manned by Chinese folks, not the foreign workers. They’ll tell you every takes that they know about this town, capturing your imagination, mesmerizing your thought.

The second chendol of our trip, from a store in front of Red House

Taken at the entrance of the Zheng Ho museum. If I were to suggest one must-do in Melaka, I would say go to this museum. There’s a guide  leading you through it, telling you little fascinating stories and every setting in the museum is up for photography. It’s like a wonderland for history-fanatics, cam-whores and whoever in the middle. I ain’t kidding..It’s worth the ticket. And you get an AMAZING view of the whole town, only on a roof accessible through the museum.

Leaving after having the third chendol of our trip. We never seem to get enough of it, neither do we of this lovely town.. Ending this travel chapter with sweet thoughts dangling and beginning of the fantasy of another trip..
