*Drool* Last Sunday, Wenz, B and I get to catch Tokio Hotel live! Yes, LIVE!!! I am so alive now… Truth be told, I was never a fan of theirs when they won the VMA years back. I remember myself having a hard time accepting Bill’s extraordinary haircut, but now, I am having a hard time accepting the fact that I am head over heels for them…
Wenz initially got the normal ticket for the show, but then, Lady Luck was on our side, she managed to get the VIP ticket and…and the Meet & Greet passes!!! Yup, all thank to her Ben Ben…Thank you,Ben Ben… ^^
So, we took off at 3pm, thinking the concert starts at 8pm, which was 6pm instead. By the time we got there, it’s already packed with cars, however, we managed to find a parking lot as soon as we got into it. We were really, really lucky~ Then, we grab lunch at Fish & Co. and headed straight for the Central Park Avenue. Oh, right, the show was held in One Utama.
Mushroom soup…
New York Fish ‘N Chips…yum yum…
Prawn Fettucini, a little too cheesy for me though…
The line was so loooong, and so crowded by the time we got there, and the grey sky threatens to rain. It eventually did drizzle, but that was also the time we discover VIPs get to cut queue and stand on an elevated platform throughout the show. *what joy* (Now I know why people would kill for a VIP lifestyle, it’s guiltfully addictive…)
The show was opened by Pop Shuvit and Bunkface…And only after much heart-wrenching waiting, Tokio Hotel took centre stage! The two hours wait, filled with desperation and frustration was forgotten right away, at the sight of these four ‘goddess’, as many fans claims. Now, lets let pictures do the talking,eh?
VIP and media’s registration…
One of favourite shots of the day…
THE QUEUE…
Lounging around inside, waiting for the show to start, which eventually did at 8pm…
Here’s the trick…This is the entrance for normal ticket holders…
And THIS, is the entrance for VIPs…
Run, people, RUN!
LOL, the VIP platform…haha, can’t help but to brag about the privileges, bear with me ^^
There’s security guarding the platform too…
Host of the night, Jin from Hitz FM…
Ocean of cameras and cells, waiting to engulf Tokio Hotel, seconds before they come out…
*DROOL*
Another of my favourite shot of the day…
As from left, Tom, Gustav, Bill and Georg…
Amazing…
The concert, including the opening acts by Pop Shuvit and Bunkface was great. Tokio Hotel was pitch-perfect! It felt like listening to their album on a player, but yet, you see them perform in front of your very eyes… *faint* Some say, their performance is as good as Daughtry’s… Well spoken…
One thing though, during the meet and greet, we kept on being hustles by the security/ organiser. It was like one minute you saw Bill, and you’re out the backstage the next minute. But, but, we were told they’ll be back again, SOON…So, hopefully, in another venue, another organiser.
I took the liberty of grabbing some clearer pictures from the officials, to make up for my camera’s insufficient zoom…
This is Georg, the bassist
This is Tom, the guitarist. And much to me suprise, Bill’s twin elder brother…
And this is Bill, the vocalist~ Gustav is the drummer, but there’s no close-up on him, probably because he’s tucked in way back on stage, hard to get a good angle on him…
Frowning Bill, somehow I find this very loveable…
And last but not least, the meet and greet group picture!!! (Gustav is the second one from the left)… This definitely marks the high point of my day, B’s day and Wenz’s! All I can mumbled was “Welcome to Malaysia…” *sigh* Cliche, I know…
Anyhow, that’s it for now…until another great concert lands on my lap, Tchau! (That’s German for ‘Goodbye’ ).
Wenz, I have two things to say, “Thank you for the tics” and & “We should have hug ( I hug, you lick) them…
With love,
KC
