Day three! Snorkelling time! Yesterday in Tekek, we walked past a small wooden hut, a very friendly Malay man asked us if we were interested in taking a snorkelling trip and if he could explain to us what his tour can offer. We listened. He was a world class chef who stayed in Tioman because he was falling in love with this place. It was an amazing story and we told him we’ll think about joining his tour.
After talking another 35 minutes under the scorching sun, we reached at the duty free shop and dad told us he met a friendly young man who offers him a snorkel trip for RM50. His name was … “chef”~ This is the man who has made our whole journey in Tioman complete. I’ll tell you why soon. Meanwhile, back to our snorkel trip.
Everyone, this is Chef. He brought us snorkelling himself, Such a terrific guide and did I mentioned he cooked lunch fro us? Super yummy brown pepper sauce with grilled chicken. He was the national sous chef in Australia for two years! We were so lucky… ^^
This is Ave’s watery ass~
Coconut pancake @ Salang. Really not bad!
Salang Bay. Great night life, good shopping, but too commercial for my taste. Air Batang Bay (ABC) is still the best!
Some underwater shots at the Marine Park in Tekek, a lot of big fishes, but a lot of tourists too. And a small group of scuba divers under us. Not a bad spot for snorkelling for beginners. Now, the real snorkelling, @ Renggis Island, where all the reef sharks lurk around~ *wink wink*
Dad at the back of the boat~
Day three ends on an adventurous note, leaving us too exhausted to cam-whore at night. So, day four will be up soon! Tata~ Goodnight!
With love,
KC
ps: I DO have a lot of tips for those planning to go to Tioman, do refer to my posts for now, I will have a summarised re-cap on more details pricing & ratings when I am done posting the five days of our Tioman trip. ^^
